✓ Keeping Legal Aid Free — LEAP will not charge beneficiaries for the legal aid and assistance provided through its programmes.

Financial Stewardship & Transparency

We believe transparency should be built into the institution from the beginning.

Section 8 from Day One

LEAP was incorporated as a Section 8 company from the outset, placing the organisation within the statutory corporate and financial framework applicable to Section 8 companies.

Transparency by Design

LEAP is subject to applicable Ministry of Corporate Affairs filing and disclosure requirements, providing public visibility into its statutory records, financial information and compliance.

Responsible Use of Funds

Funds received by LEAP are used towards its legal-aid work, charitable objects and legitimate organisational expenses, with appropriate records and statutory reporting maintained.

LEAP holds Section 12A and Section 80G registrations. For every donation, LEAP will proactively issue the appropriate donation receipt, which donors can use for applicable tax benefit purposes.
